Exploring the caregiving space of a challenging illness

Over a 15-week period, we, a group of three Parsons Master Students in Strategic Design Management, engaged with real-life professional Dementia caregivers and subject-matter experts in the field - to learn about the Dementia caregiving landscape and hone in on the current pain points and challenges that professional Dementia caregivers face in this space.

The initial scope of this project focused on better understanding what Dementia is, the landscape in which professional caregivers operate, the pain points and challenges of our users, and the opportunity areas for potential design interventions.
